Futuristic Technology

Futuristic technology changes the fabric of society in such a way that when future generations look back into the past, they can’t understand how people lived and existed without that technology. The entire world has changed and fit itself around the new technology.

Technologies that fit this criteria from the past would probably surprise you, since they seem so ordinary to us now. And yet, for the people living in the times they were invented and used, they seemed like magic - just like flying and autonomous cars, or general artificial intelligence, seem to us.
